JACK SAFRIT, President & CEO

Jack Safrit entered the technology industry in 1987 by founding Ribbons Ink, a supplier of computer supplies.  After changing names in 1988 to Ribbons Unlimited, the company began to expand its offerings to include computer software and hardware sales. In 1996 the company officially became Axxys Technologies, Inc., a name better reflecting the range of IT services and products it provided to businesses across the region. In 1996 Axxys was named one of the Dallas 100, a list of the top 100 fastest growing small businesses in the Dallas Ft. Worth area. In 1999 Axxys acquired Netsource LLC, a local network integrator, and continued its steady growth.

Mr. Safrit's experiences include the creation and leadership of several businesses prior to and during his tenure at Axxys Technologies. Mr. Safrit holds a BA degree from Southern Methodist University and began his technology career by serving as Director of Scheduling and Director of Financial Aid at St. Mark's School of Texas, a nationally known private college preparatory school. His other experiences include the formation and presidency of a national, educational placement and consultant firm. Axxys Technologies has distinguished itself as a premier Managed Services provider and network integrator. Mr. Safrit's leadership has taken Axxys Technologies from a small, single-person operation to become a mid-sized business. Because of his business development background, he is fully aware of the problems and concerns of small to medium size companies. It is from his experience gained with Axxys Technologies and other businesses that the core focus of Axxys Technologies was formed.

Mr. Safrit is currently active in Ingram Micro's VentureTech Network, Heartland Technology Groups, and a representative with Cisco on the Small Business council. Each of these groups, along with Axxys clients, lend a hand in helping Mr. Safrit shape the focus, vision, and direction of Axxys Technologies.

BLAKE BRITTON, Vice President

Blake Britton entered the technology industry in 1995. His current duties at Axxys include leadership of the sales division and joint responsibility for developing and directing the vision of Axxys as a premier Managed Services Provider.

Prior to joining Axxys, Blake served as Director of Receiving at Tom Thumb/Randalls Food Markets, Inc. In that capacity he was charged with developing IT standards around vendor relationships and corporate receiving policies.  Blake also contributed to Tom Thumb/Randalls Food Markets development of the Direct Store Delivery System.  With that responsibility, Blake was charged with implementing QA of the software and managed over 100 users of the system.

To continue his passion for using technology, Blake joined Axxys in 1999 to begin a new career consulting with businesses to develop and implement industry leading IT strategies.

WADE KILGORE, Vice President, Technical Operations

Wade Kilgore has supplemented his education and skills with numerous vendor certifications from Microsoft, Novell, Cisco, WatchGuard, Citrix, and many others. Wade is a Microsoft Certified IT Professional, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Novell Certified Engineer, Cisco Certified Network Professional, Cisco Certified Design Associate, WatchGuard Certified Security Expert, Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator, and is certified by CompTIA. In addition he has completed certifications for Voice over IP from Cisco Systems, Inc. and Content Management from the AIIM organization. This study and certification is combined with over a decade of hands on experiencing in pre-sales consulting, implementation, post-sales support, design, project management, and team management.

When Wade is not working with his clients on their technology solutions, he can be found spending time with his wife Heather of 13 years, and their two children Keigan and Blake. Wade and his family live in Sherman, TX just north of the Dallas metroplex. Wade is also an avid musician who plays guitar, piano, and sings. He is also a songwriter, travelling to Nashville, TN on a regular basis to meet with publishers and A/R reps and recently having a song published by Blue Steel Music in Nashville, TN.
