Well, the Axxys Open House has come and gone…and everyone had a great time!  We had clients, potential clients, partners, peers, friends, family, and neighbors joining us throughout the afternoon and evening. Even with a set time frame for the event of 3 – 7 PM, we went into overtime with the last of the visitors heading out around 10 PM because it was just that much fun!

We had a lot of RSVPs, and a lot of registrations at the door, but we were definitely prepared to manage the situation. Each member of the Axxys team was armed with an iPhone/Android app to help us quickly check attendees into the event that had RSVP’d prior to the doors opening. For those registering on site, we had an HP mini notebook setup for registrations, as well as a pair of HP’s new Slate devices floating around and capturing information. But the HP Slate was a highlight piece for the event, everyone wanted to see it, play with it and know more about getting it…well done HP and Microsoft making business as usual on a tablet possible!

If you follow Axxys on Twitter, you should have seen multiple posted throughout the night with photos from event so you could follow all the updates for #AxxysOpenHouse, @Axxys, @Cymphonix, @Cisco, @HP, @ArrayNetworks, and @WatchGuardTech! But if you aren’t following any of those feeds, it’s never too late to start as there is always great business information and updates from all of us.

 It was great to have our clients interacting with one another and networking, but “salesman of the night” has to go to Leroy Howard of Roach Howard Smith & Barton (long time Axxys client) who did nothing but sing our praises to everyone the whole time! Nothing is more satisfying than having a client that is so happy with their partnership and the support they receive from our tech team that they just want to tell people without a request to do so. Thanks Leroy, we love RHSB too!

 A Special thanks to our vendor partners from Cymphonix, HP, Microsoft, Cisco, Array Networks, Ingram Micro, and WatchGuard who helped make this event successful and for donating some great prizes for the guests to win. We gave away everything from an iPad to laptop bags and gift cards. I just wish I could have qualified to win myself!
